Pupuke Birdsong Project is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a community-led initiative, we’re committed to creating connected communities, preserving our natural environment, and fostering a shared love for sustainability.
About us
We bring together volunteer groups, individuals, schools, and organisations to achieve a common goal: preserving a thriving natural environment. We’re guided by our values of collaboration, inclusion, and kaitiakitanga (guardianship).
Role description
As a Board member, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our organisation’s strategic direction, ensuring financial sustainability, and advocating for our mission. We’re looking for individuals who:
- Share our passion for environmental sustainability and community engagement
- Have experience in any of the following: HR, education, marketing, sustainability
- Bring strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills
- Are committed to our values of collaboration, inclusion, and kaitiakitanga
- Can dedicate at least 4 hours/month, including attending Board meetings every six weeks
